Many thanks to all who have been so concerned for me these last few days as I agonized over the Holy Grail of all monitors, the GRACO DIGITAL iMONITOR DUAL FOR TWO ROOMS. Thank you Tracey for offering your mother's sweet Canadian services, thank you Susan for suggesting our Maine peeps head over the border, and thank you Michelle, A. for bringing this much needed necessity to my attention, and B. for wishing me luck in my endeavors. Yesterday, I placed a few bids on eBay and found out this morning that I had lost. Probably just as well, I was bidding in Canadian dollars. They said they would ship to North and South America but I was a little concerned about converting from US Dollars to Canadian. Do I do that or would Paypal do that for me? Moot point, as I lost.
HOWEVER, I did another search and found My Precious as a buy it now item for less than I had bid yesterday! I clicked that buy it now button so fast...and received the following email from eBay:

So shipping is $22.00 (American) but all told, it's less than the other ones I've seen sell and much less than buying it in the store! So my new bff Genevieve Lacroix will be packaging up my newest toy and sending it with love from Toronto.
Sigh. I'd say a day's job well done. And it's only 9:04am. Thank you Canada for continuing to carry this product (is that better Tracey?) and thank you eBay. Michelle, you no longer have to guard your monitor with your life. I can guarantee that I will certainly NOT be skulking in your bushes waiting to ambush you and steal your precious monitor away. :-)
