An update on Emma and Alex and their activities. Or mine. Or whatever I feel like putting out there.

I'm Ready For My Closeup Mr DeMille!
I had planned on taking Emma to a friend's house this morning. She has a pool and hosts a weekly playdate. Emma received a bathing suit and matching hat, complete with sunglasses at a shower and I thought she would be super cute. I put her in the suit and promptly decided to forego this morning's activities. Apparently the suit is a 3-6 month size. Which translates to equal WAY too big for Miss Emma to wear today. Or any day soon for that matter. But she looked so cute, I had to take pictures of course. And you'll see just how big the suit is. Thankfully we live where it will be hot long after the rest of the country shuts down for winter and she'll be able to wear it. If we have to "swim" in my bathtub, we'll do it. She's just too cute. I think she is embarrassed I am posting this because she just started to cry.

Ah, how adorable - she's the babe in that suit and the hat and shades!! Good thing you stayed home, she would steal the show for sure!!
I am now fortunate enough to be a stay at home mommy to my two littles, a two year old and a one year old. My two year old princess is Miss Priss, until she gets outside. Then the shoes come off and into the mud she goes. All while wearing a dress of course. My little man is a climber. And a sweetheart. And a handsome little man trapped in a tiny body. These two have a pretty secure hold on my heart. I have an amazing, supportive husband who is NOT crafty, but enjoys that I am. Although he might squawk if I paint his tool belt pink.
