Hosting All Of The Grandparents

OK, since I had surgery, going up the stairs has been hard for me and I apologize readers, for not keeping you all up to date on little Emma. So I'm now rapidly trying to post while she is napping. Which, by the way, she is sleeping beautifully, thank you for asking. So there will be several posts in a row...you may want to start at the bottom and read up. Just a suggestion. Or you could start at the top and go down...it might be like living backwards in time. Or maybe I've just been watching too much of the SciFi network or previews of The X Files movie. Either way, it's up to you.

On Sunday the 13th, Jeff's dad came into town with his stepmom. They stayed with us for the night and we hosted a BBQ for the family to get together. Unfortunately Jeff's brother had to work, so they weren't able to make it, but we did have a special day nonetheless. We had Jeff's dad and stepmom, his mom and stepdad, his niece and nephew and my mom. We realized that my dad was the only missing grandparent! He was on a flight from Florida as my grandfather had been in the hospital and Daddy flew down to be with him and so I called him and left a message that when he landed, he should come over because when would we get an opportunity like this again? So he showed up and we took lots of pictures. We even had 4 generations - Great Grandma Arcangeli, Jeff's mom, Jeff, and Emma. Very special. A scrapbooker's dream come true! Those will be some great layouts...if I ever get to scrapbook again! LOL.
